The\nBIS Officer and their inspection team will visit the factory premises. The\ninspection team will examine the manufacturing process &amp; quality control of\nthe applicant\u2019s factory. The BIS Officer will collect samples and send the\nsamples for testing in a BIS certified lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Step 4:\nSample Report<\/em><\/strong>: The applicant must get the report of the\nproduct sample from the certified lab and submit it to BIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Step 5: Issuance of Certificate<\/em><\/strong>: Once the procedure for ISI Certification and verification of the submitted documents, reports and application is completed, the <strong>BIS Authority<\/strong><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bis.gov.in\/\" class=\"text-primary\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a><\/sup> will issue ISI Certification. Generally, the procedure for ISI Certification takes around 30 days of time, starting from the submission date of the application. Moreover, the validity of the ISI Certificate is for one year and the same is qualified to get renewed after the expiry.
