Governments and organizations around the world have\nrecognized the need to provide welfare measures for building construction\nworkers to improve their quality of life and protect their rights. The\nconstruction industry in India has been growing rapidly in recent years, with a\nboom in the real estate sector. While the growth of the industry has created\nnumerous employment opportunities for skilled and unskilled workers, it has\nalso brought to light the poor working conditions and lack of basic amenities\nfor the workers.
