The application should be filed at the head office or\nthe branch office of the registrar of trademark. The application is then\ndigitalized and checked formally. <\/li><li><strong>Step 3: <\/strong>Once\nthe trademark application is filed, the registrar of trademark office shall\nappoint a trademark examination officer who shall examine the application. If\nthe examination officer is satisfied with the trademark application he shall\napprove for the registration of the trademark. However, if the examination\nofficer is not satisfied with the application, he shall pass a refusal order\nfor the same. <\/li><li><strong>Step 4: <\/strong>Once\nthe examination officer approves the application, he shall proceed further with\npublishing it in the Trademarks Journal for scrutiny.
