<\/li><li>Provide\nPrice Target;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, it shall be noted that the\nfollowing are exempted from the registration of SEBI (Research Analysts):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Investment\nAdviser;<\/li><li>Credit\nRating Agency (CRA);<\/li><li>Asset\nManagement Company;<\/li><li>Fund\nManager;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, it shall be relevant to state that the fee for registration for Sole Proprietors and Partnership Firms vary from Private Companies and <strong><a class=\"text-primary\" href=\"https:\/\/swaritadvisors.com\/limited-liability-partnership-registration\">Limited Liability Partnerships<\/a><\/strong>, as in the former case, the minimum capital required is Rs 1 Lakh, whereas in the latter case, the same has been increased to Rs 25 Lakhs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Also, Read: <\/strong><mark style=\"background: #fffd03 !important;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/swaritadvisors.com\/blog\/delivery-default-norms-amended-by-sebi\/\">Delivery Default Norms Amended by SEBI<\/a><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Key_Provisions_of_the_SEBI_Research_Analysts_Amendment_Regulations_2021\"><\/span>Key Provisions of the SEBI (Research Analysts) (Amendment)\nRegulations 2021<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The key provisions of the SEBI (Research\nAnalysts) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Insertion_in_Regulation_7_1\"><\/span>Insertion in Regulation 7 (1)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It shall be noted that clause (iii) will\nnow be renumbered as (iv), and alsoprior to the clause so renumbered, the\nfollowing clause will be inserted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(iii) a professional qualification by\nfinishing a Post Graduate Program in the Securities Markets (Research Analysis)\nfrom the NISM of a period not less than one year; or.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusion\"><\/span>Conclusion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In a nutshell,SEBI Research Analyst\nmeans an individual or an entity that is involved in analysing the securities,\npreparation of reports, recommendation on the buy or sell of securities, and in\nproviding a price target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sebi.gov.in\/\">SEBI<\/a> on 16.03.2021, by way of a\nNotification No.SEBI\/LAD\u2013NRO\/GN\/2021\/09 has notified the\nSEBI (Research Analysts) (Amendment) Regulations 2021.
