However, in the failure of submitting the necessary documents, a letter detailing the necessary documents to be provided is sent to the applicant. The film copyright laws are followed under this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Advertised_for_Objection\"><\/span>Advertised for Objection <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The next step\ninvolved in the cinematograph copyright once the formality check is done by the\ncopyright officer is that the said application is advertised by the officer for\na period of <strong><em>1 month<\/em><\/strong> for raising any objections from any person who may have\ninterest in the subject matter of the copyright or disagrees with the right of\nthe applicant to register the work. If any objection is raised by any person,\nit shall be scrutinized and the applicant shall be required to give a reply to\nthe same. Both the parties shall be heard and if the objection exists, will\nstand rejected. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Examination\"><\/span>Examination<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The work shall be examined by the copyright officer if any objection or disagreement is raised. If the objection subsists the application will be rejected. However, if no objection is raised or the raised objection is cleared, then the application will moved to the next step. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The applicant\nshall be given a chance to correct his work if any discrepancies arise and the\napplication so corrected shall be passed for registration. Once the\ndiscrepancies are corrected, the application will be processed and the\ncertificate of registration shall be issued by the registrar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Registration\"><\/span>Registration<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A registration certification along with the extracts of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/swaritadvisors.com\/copyright-registration\" class=\"text-primary\">copyright registration<\/a><\/strong> will be sent to the applicant, once the examination process for cinematograph copyright registration is completed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Time_Period_of_Protection\"><\/span>Time Period of Protection<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Section 26 of the Copyright Act defines the time period for the protection of cinematograph films. The application for\nregistration must be accompanied by the required fee and supporting documents\nand records and must be submitted in person or by post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_is_the_Cinematograph_Film_published\"><\/span>How is the Cinematograph Film published? <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The\ncinematograph film is published through: &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>DTH Channels show casting cinematograph films. <\/li><li>TV Shows show casting cinematograph films.<\/li><li>Broadcasting the cinematograph film through DVD\nor Compact Disk. <\/li><li>Releasing the movies in the multiplexes or\ntheatres. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Benefits_of_Cinematograph_Copyright_Registration\"><\/span>Benefits of Cinematograph\nCopyright Registration<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the\noriginal work of cinematograph film is registered under the Copyright Act, it\nprotects the work of the author. The benefits that the author can enjoy on\ncinematograph copyright registration are: &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Privilege to work freely.<\/li><li>Public display of the work of the author.<\/li><li>Passing of the right of work.<\/li><li>Safeguarding the author\u2019s reputation. <\/li><li>Legal protection of ownership.<\/li><li>Revenue generation.<\/li><li>Attracting the attention of the crowd.<\/li><li>Precautionary measures. <\/li><li>Prevention of monetary loss.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusion\"><\/span>Conclusion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Copyright is the right given by the law to the creator of the artistic works. It protects the rights of the authors over their creativity and rewards them for it.
