The Intellectual Property Division will deal with actual proceedings, CMM, RFA, Writ Petition (Civil), FAO on the IPR disputes, except those required to be dealt with by the Division Bench.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Intellectual\nProperty Divisions have been constituted based on the committee&#8217;s suggestions\nincluded by Chief Justice DN Patel &amp; composed of Justice Prathiba M.Singh\n&amp; Justice Sanjeev Narula. The committee was comprised to streamline &amp; systematically\nexamine how a big quantum of Intellectual Property Right cases should be dealt\nwith, and they have submitted their report on Intellectual Property Rights and\nnon-IPR subjects. Benches for the Intellectual Property Divisions shall be\ninformed by the Chief Justice from time to time &amp; exclusive Intellectual\nProperty Divisions Benches are also to be created for dealing with such\ninstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nIPR Division Rules, 2021 includes 14 Rules comprising procedure for appeals,\nwrit petitions, intervention by 3<sup>rd<\/sup> parties, suits, definitions,\noriginal petitions, summary adjudication, guidelines of written submissions,\ngeneral clauses, appeal from orders of the Intellectual Property Division,\ncosts, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Delhi\nHigh Court Rules Governing Patent Suits 2021:<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nRules comprises 17 rules, including 1<sup>st<\/sup> hearing of the case\/suit,\nthe content of pleadings, filing of affidavits of admission or denial,\ndefinitions, and other briefs, second &amp; 3<sup>rd<\/sup> case management\nhearing, final hearing, mediation, summary adjudication, and general clause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDefinitions &amp; procedures not purposely provided in these Rules shall, in general, be governed by the <strong><em>Civil Procedure Code (CVC), 1908<\/em><\/strong> as changed by the <strong><em>Commercial Courts Act, 2015<\/em><\/strong><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiacode.nic.in\/handle\/123456789\/2156?sam_handle=123456789\/1362\" class=\"text-primary\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a><\/sup> and the <strong><em>Delhi HC (Original Side) Rules 2018<\/em><\/strong> as also the Delhi HC IPR Division Rules 2021; to the extent, they are not inconsistent with the current rules&#8221;, it reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusion\"><\/span>Conclusion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nDelhi High Court has given valid importance to the attorney with disabilities\nby incorporating provisions concerning accessibility &amp; sensible\naccommodations.
