The annual turnover of such FBO\u2019s is more than twelve lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"FSSAI_Central_License\"><\/span>FSSAI Central License<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All the Food Business Operators whose operation is in large scale business has to obtain Central License. The annual turnover of such FBO\u2019s is that exceeds Twenty Crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Businesses_requiring_food_license\"><\/span>Businesses requiring food license<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It is\nnecessary for every Food Business Operator (FBO) who is engaged in the food\nbusiness to get its business registered or licensed under the Food Safety and\nStandard Authority (FSSAI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FSSAI\nRegistration is required for the small businesses that are petty retailers,\nhawkers etc. and whose annual turnover is less than 12 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whereas FSSAI License is required for small \u2013 scale or large scale businesses whose annual turnover exceeds 12 lakh. equipment installed in the unit;<\/li><li>Details\nof product to be manufactured;<\/li><li>Authorization\nLetter enclosing the full name and the Address of the answerable person;<\/li><li>NOC\nor No Objection Certificate from Municipality;<\/li><li>Submit\na detailed plan of the Food Safety Management System.<\/li><li>A\ndetailed list of all food items for which the license is needed;<\/li><li>In\ncase the applicant is a Partnership Firm; click on that button.<\/li><li>Then you need to provide all the details such as the applicant&#8217;s name, email id, contact number.<\/li><li>After entering all the above details then you have to enter the Captcha code and then click the Sign-up button.<\/li><li>After that, you have to sign in by entering the username and password which you created during the sign-up process and then enter the captcha and click on the sign-in button.<\/li><li>After that, you will be redirected to the dashboard, then go to the left panel and click the button called <strong><em>\u201cLicense\/Registration\u201d.<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp; Then click on the button<strong><em> \u201cApply for New License\/Registration\u201d<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li><li>Then select the state from the menu where the business is located.<\/li><li>Now you have to select the type of business you are dealing with.<\/li><li>If you are involved in the retail food business, then click on the <strong><em>\u201cTrade\/Retail\u201d button<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li><li>Then you have to select <strong><em>\u201cRetailer\u201d<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select the suitable turnover under the Retailer option and click the <strong><em>\u201cProceed\u201d<\/em><\/strong> button.<\/li><li>After hitting the proceed button, you will be redirected to a new window where you have to click the button called <strong><em>\u201cClick here to apply for registration all business\u201d<\/em><\/strong>. A food registration\nlicense is needed for the operation food business. The FBO has to register\nunder the FSSAI to distribute, manufacture, process, transport etc. of food\nproducts.
