Those are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1) Normal registration Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2) Simplified&nbsp; registration Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Normal_registration_Procedure\"><\/span>1) <strong>Normal<\/strong> <strong>registration<\/strong> <strong>Procedure<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>* In Normal Procedure, the applicant has to fill the registration application form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* The applicant also needs to select the product quality as mentioned in the Bureau of Indian Standard<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* It necessary to attach fee and documents along with the application then after that the application will submit in BIS office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* After submission of application, the authorized officers will visit the factory of the applicant to inspect the manufacturing process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* The officers also send the sample of products to any BIS approved Laboratories for testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* If the product qualifies the testing process then applicant becomes eligible to get the ISI certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Simplified_registration_Procedure\"><\/span>2) <strong>Simplified registration Procedure<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is another <strong>type of procedure to get ISI registration<\/strong>. In this procedure, it is mandatory for the applicant to take the product sample to any BIS approved laboratory for testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicant needs to attach registration application and other documents along with the sample of the product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If it finds that test reports are satisfactory,&nbsp; then the BIS will grant ISI certification to the applicant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Is_it_mandatory_to_obtain_ISI_Mark_Registration\"><\/span><strong>Is it mandatory to obtain ISI Mark Registration?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the Government of India and <strong>Bureau of Indian Standard<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bureau_of_Indian_Standards\">[2]<\/a> , it is mandatory to <strong>obtain ISI registration<\/strong> on certain products sold in India. Those products include electrical appliances as well as industrial items.
