  • Next is uploading scanned documents based on the type of business you are running.
  • Getting to the part B of the form, it needs to be filed with few details and after that, you’ll get an application reference number on your phone via an SMS.
  • Then your application will be verified by some GST officer who will either get satisfied or approve your application, or he or she could ask for additional details until the authorities are satisfied with your information.
  • You will have to do GST registration online separately in case you decide to operate your business in multiple states. A GST registration for each such state is mandatory.
