The TSRERA or RERA in Telangana was implemented by the state government on 04.08.2017. The main objective behind its implementation is to boost and administer the Real Estate Sector of the state. Also, it shall be relevant to note that both promoter and real estate agent needs to obtain registration under TSRERA.

Process to obtain Real Estate Agent Registration under TSRERA
The steps involved in the process to obtain Real Estate Agent Registration under TSRERA are as follows:

Visit Official Website
In the first step, the applicant needs to visit the Official Telangana RERA Portal[1].

Select Real Estate Agent Registration
Now, the applicant requires to click on the third option “Services”, and after that “Real Estate Agent Registration.

Click on New Registration
In this step, the applicant will be redirected to a New Webpage, wherein he/she needs to select the option “New Registration”.

Create a New Account
Further, the applicant will be re-directed to an application form, wherein he/she needs to provide the details asked for creating a new account. The term “Details” include User Type, User Name, Password, Mobile Number, E-mail ID, etc.
Also, the applicant requires to enter the Captcha provided and click on the option “Create User”.

Receive Verification Link
Now, the applicant will receive a Verification Mail to the registered email address. Further, he/she requires to click on the Activation Link to complete the process of registration.

Go Back to Homepage
Now, the applicant requires to again go back to the Portal’s Homepage[2]

Again Select Real Estate Agent Registration
Now, the applicant again requires to click on the third option “Services”, and after that “Real Estate Agent Registration.

Enter Login Credentials
Now, the applicant requires to enter the Login Credentials (User Name and Password) received on the registered mail, together with the Captcha provided.
After that, click on Login to get redirected to a new webpage.

Fill in Required Details
Now, the applicant needsto fill in all the information and details asked. Further, the term details include Name, Type of Registration, PAN, Father’s Name, Company Registration Name, CIN, Prior Experience, etc.
Upload Necessary Documents
After that, the concerned applicant/proposed promoter requires to upload all the required set of documents.
Pay the Required Fee
Now, in this part of the registration form, the applicant needs to pay the fees prescribed.
Check Declaration Box
Thereafter in the last part of the application form, the applicant needs to confirm that the information, documents, and the details provided by him or her are true and best of his or her knowledge.
Submit the Registration Form
In the last and the final step, the applicant requires to click on submit to file the registration form.

The steps included in the process to view details of the Registered Project under RERA in Telangana are as follows:

Select Search Registered Projects and Agent
Now, the applicant again requires to click on the last option “Services”, i.e., Search Registered Projects and Agents.

Search Project Details
Now, the applicant will be re-directed to a page wherein he/she requires to select the User Type and provide the details, such as Project Name, Promoter Name, and Telangana RERA Project Registration Number to check the details of the specific registered Real Estate Project.

Process to View Details of Registered Real Estate Agents
The steps included in the process to view details of the Registered Project under RERA in Telangana are as follows:

In the first step, the applicant needs to visit the Official Telangana RERA Portal.

Select Search Registered Projects and Agent
Now, the applicant again requires to click on the last option “Services”, i.e., Search Registered Projects and Agents.

Search Project Details
Now, the applicant will be re-directed to a page wherein he/she requires to select the User Type and provide the details, such as Agent Name and RERA Registration Number to check the details of the specific registered Real Estate Agent.

Conclusion
In a nutshell, TSRERA or Telangana RERA is solely responsible for protecting the rights and interest of home buyers, promoters/developers, and real estate agents.
Also, it is mandatory for both Promoters, Developers and Real Estate Agents to obtain registration under TSRERA. However, in the case of failure, the parties in default will be liable for hefty penalties.
